Buying groups keep growing, and AI driven research means buyers are forming opinions long before a seller even knows they’re in-market. One generic asset stretched across every audience just doesn’t hold up. When audience insights and creative come together that’s the magic formula. That’s why I’m excited about Smartlyy for LinkedIn- a singular solution for B2B that drives relevant, intelligent creative that is personalized for your buyer groups at scale. For your marketing and creative team, that means less time getting creative out the door and more time on driving results that matter. And suddenly the account you thought you knew looks pretty different. So we are bringing Sales Navigator into Microsoft Teams. Instead of asking people to go looking for what changed, the changes come to them, right where they’re already working. NICE! The best sales teams aren’t working from last quarter’s picture of a customer. They’re up on what’s happening right now. #ItWorksWhereYouWork

The other? How to build the right tech stack to help their teams be more successful. And they don't want more tech, they want their existing solutions to work better together. That’s why I’m excited about the launch of Sales Navigator for Microsoft Teams. We’re bringing LinkedIn’s B2B network intelligence directly into sellers’ flow of work, with real-time alerts that help them spot the moments that matter, from a key decision-maker changing roles to a new contact joining an account. Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments. https://lnkd.in/ItWorksWhereYouWork

“Information is the new bid” and many other gems on AI and Advertising from my teammate Tim Frank in conversation with AdExchanger

I had a far-ranging conversation about the emerging AI economy with Allison Schiff at AdExchanger about what that means for brands, publishers, and commerce. We covered: • The three eras of the internet: human, LLM, and agentic, and how that plays out for brand discoverability • How bot traffic overtaking human traffic changes the discovery equation • The reality that information quality is becoming the new bid • That interviewing AI models is an important component of market research • Why open standards, such as the Universal Commerce Protocol are so critical to give AIs the ability to take action The shift can sound abstract, but my family experienced a small version of it this summer. We used AI to find specialty shops in New York based on things we already liked. It narrowed the options and helped us plan. Then we did the human part: walked around, explored, and bought a little more than planned. :) That balance of spending less time navigating complexity and more time enjoying the experience is where this gets interesting. Our latest research finds nearly 9 in 10 B2B marketers globally believe future growth depends on influencing Gen Z, and 42% say expert voices are the most effective way to do it. And as AI changes how people find information, one thing hasn't changed: people trust people. That's why the smartest companies are partnering with trusted voices like Allie K. Miller, Bernard Marr and Meghana Dhar, who are already influencing the next generation of buyers. Check out the research here and let me know how you are earning the trust of the next generation of buyers: https://lnkd.in/eDu8ezVT

Many of these buyers place more trust in people than brands. So it’s no surprise that companies are increasingly using Thought Leader Ads to amplify trusted voices — whether those are employees, customers or industry experts. We’ve seen adoption grow nearly 40% year over year. Rippling is a great example. They activated more than 300 customers to share their experiences with its AI products and promoted those perspectives with Thought Leader Ads – driving 5.8x ROI and 38% higher engagement rates vs. LinkedIn benchmarks. You can learn more about Rippling’s experience here - https://lnkd.in/gRZaydtM.

I said goodbye to so many amazing people there last week; people who shaped me and my career immeasurably. This week though, I could not be more excited to share that I’m starting a new chapter, and joining Microsoft as VP of Global Product Commercialization. I can’t wait to build with Matthew Derella and my amazing leadership team, and bring the best of Microsoft AI to bear to help our customers grow.

More and more of us are turning to AI to help make decisions faster. Being discoverable is no longer just about getting someone to your website. It’s about creating content and expertise that AI models recognize, trust, and surface. How brands stay visible in the AI era is one of the biggest topics B2B marketers are facing right now. That’s why the team at LinkedIn have been researching, testing, and learning what drives visibility in AI search, and we’re sharing what we found. Our new guide helps marketers build an AI-ready content system, earn more citations, and measure what really matters. My top take? 💡 LinkedIn is your strongest lever! It's the #1 most-cited domain for professional queries, so if you're not here, you're not showing up! Take a look and let me know what you think. Thank you! https://lnkd.in/gNu52gwn

So excited to bring together relevant ad experiences that deliver strong results for advertisers while respecting amazing game play. These things can coexist. We will learn and iterate. No one better than Jonathan Stringfield, PhD to lead our efforts here.

This is a meaningful change for me not just because it affords the opportunity to focus on what has always been my passion point, but because it was necessary – not just for XBOX, but the entire gaming industry. Our leaders have been clear: We want to create amazing experiences for our fans *and* have the business that supports these experiences in a healthy place. Today we launched and important step in this journey: Ad-supported cloud streaming - a more affordable way for players to get more value from XBOX. What do we hope to learn? It's simple: The level of value this provides to our players *and* creating a great experience for our advertising customers to unlock this value. How will we do it? By staying true to our principles, outlined in the blog post below: 1. We start with the player. Ads should create value. 2. We do not interrupt the flow of gameplay. 3. We hold ads to the same quality bar as our content. 4. We’re clear about what’s advertising. 5. We make sure ads fit what players expect on each platform. The result? Better player value, and better more demonstrable outcomes for our advertising partners. My team at XBOX Media Solutions will be exclusively bringing this to market, first with a select group of our most strategic clients. If you are a brand or agency who would like to be involved as we move forward, please reach out. https://lnkd.in/gx8RrmJm
