AI is creating some of the biggest opportunities in today's job market. But who REALLY gets access to them? LinkedIn's Economic Graph team's new research on women in the AI economy highlights an important challenge. AI roles are among the fastest-growing and highest-paying jobs, yet women account for just 26% of new hires into those roles, and representation declines even further at senior levels. That gap matters because this isn't just a story about technology. It's a story about opportunity. As AI reshapes work, we have a chance to build the pathways for more women to enter, advance, and lead the future of work as the AI economy grows.
