AI has a hand in this, but it’s not the whole story. Hiring is down 30% globally, but applications per applicant are up 30%, compared to pre-pandemic levels. AI has created nearly 2 million new jobs globally in just over three years (!), and the skills employers are looking for are changing twice as fast as the skills U.S. workers are adding to their profiles. (Add your AI skills to your profile folks!) Recruiters are feeling it! They’re at the center, making sure their companies have the skills and teams needed for what’s next. We’re excited to introduce Hiring Assistant 2 to help recruiters spend less time on the mechanics of hiring and more time on the decisions that need their judgement.
